Thomas Meade

Thomas Meade is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist (L.Ac.- State of California). He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego in 2010, with a Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). Thomas also holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in Anthropology and Religious Studies

In addition to his primary training with acupuncture and herbs, Thomas has also completed 1500 hours of training in massage. Since 2006, he has studied Seifukujitsu, a Japanese restorative therapy/ massage. Thomas has completed 500 hours of training in Seifukujitsu, as part of his practice of Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu (in which he currently holds a rank of 1st degree Black Belt- Shodan). While at Pacific College, Thomas also completed a 1000 hour Holistic Health Practitioner certificate program.

In his private practice, Thomas is a General Practitioner, with experience treating a wide range of conditions. He specializes in the treatment of orthopedic complaints, athletic enhancement, and reproductive health among other conditions. Thomas’ particular approach to treatment is to combine acupuncture with a specific Seifukujitsu therapy protocol for maximum effect and benefit to his patients.
